Get ready to groove with the Spin Doctors!

February 29, 2024

A Spin Doctors concert can’t be wrong! Don’t miss these rock ‘n’ roll favorites when they hit the stage at the Potter Center at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 16! Tickets are on sale now.

Alternative rock band the Spin Doctors are best known for their 1990s hits, “Two Princes,” and “Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong.” These peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 charts at #7 and #17. While there were many blues rockers around New York in the early ‘90s, only the Spin Doctors made it big. Cleverly written singles with pop-blues melodies caught on. Their album “Pocket Full of Kryptonite” was around nearly a year before MTV and radio picked it up. They began playing “Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong” and the iconic “Two Princes.” Once the songs were out, their popularity couldn’t be stopped. The Spin Doctors became something of an overnight sensation, selling millions of albums around the world. The album sold over five million copies in the U.S. and another five million overseas. The band appeared on the cover of “Rolling Stone.” They even appeared on “Sesame Street” — with Count von Count singing “Little Miss Count Along.”

The follow-up album “Turn It Upside Down” did sell a million copies in the U.S. and another million abroad. The album’s biggest hit, the single “You Let Your Heart Go Too Fast,” hit No. 42 on the pop chart. The band continued to record and tour, with a few stops and starts, for the last 30 years. With seven albums, the Spin Doctors are still making music and still looking for the next big thing.

Tickets are on sale now from the Potter Center Box Office, starting at $30. Visit tkcj.net/pottercenter or call 517.796.8600.
